Ha ha. Thank God, there was an option to study statistics instead of biology in my school. Grandma tells me killing a frog is a deadly sin and the perpetrator rots in hell for eternity!

Yep, dissection of frogs aren’t allowed anymore. However, dissections live on. Now it’s roaches.

“Roman sentry crucifying Jesus” loved that one and of course the entire blog was a lovely read what to tell of that going down the memory lane.Our Chap lakshman i remember had to knock one senseless as it moved before my friend could pin it down.Sigh!

Nish, thanks for providing the update. I am glad that is banned. It deserves to be.

Life starts violently and ends violently. In the middle, we do our best to forget this fact.

I eat meat, but would have a hard time doing so if I thought about how the animals were slaughtered. I know this is hypocrisy on my part, but everyday I am trying to come to terms with it.

Thanks for commenting. Like you, I feel very strongly about animal dissection for no purpose that went on in class back then.

I support the humane treatment and use of animals in scientific research, but 10th and 12th standard kids are not doing research and the treatment is far from humane.
